Maybe some US fans should create something like that. Well, Vegas has some events going on but not much. I wish I had some money to go to London.

US Sucks!!!!!!!!! |

I'm a US citizen (sometimes proud lol) and I was just noticing all the wonderful events going on overseas for Michael Jackson. I'm so jealous. For
example, there is a cool MJ exhibition going on at London's O2 arena and I would LOVE to go! We just don't have these events here. Why?

I heard that overseas, the fans (friends) treat entertainers more like "royalty" than they do here in the U.S. It does kind of bother me as well,
because I wish they had more events like that in the states. It seems like all of the big events are happening in places like London.

I wish the US treated movie/music stars like they do back home in New Orleans.
Unless you are "on the clock", doing your thing, we dont pay attention to you. My friend Diana had kittens when we were in a jazz concert spitting distance from Iggy Pop and Lawrence Fishburn and no one was making a fuss. LOL or Harry Connick Jr. in line at a restaurant. I think thats how it should be....unless you are "at your job", you are like everyone else. Kinda miss that to tell you the truth.

I wish allot of people could just come back to earth where those that do not place celebs on a pedestal recide. US SUCKS....WHAT??? | #7 | ||
|
First I can't believe as a fan that any of you would denounce your country simply because you think more events/tributes are being held in Europe for MJ.
You should always love your country regardless. Maybe we do need to do more here in the US for MJ and instead of complaining about it maybe you should try to
do something yourself.

We dont hate the US...
Go AMERICA But..this is the same country that started the "Wacko Jacko" kick. So this isnt really making the US a huge Jackson hotspot...not really.

Actually Europe started the "wacko jacko" thing. Michael said it was on a british tabloid. I do love the US but even US artists tend to have more
things going on overseas. Even rappers.
